Sri Lanka Telecom PLC’s Non Executive Director Firdouse Farook has resigned with effect from 7 December, the company said in a CSE filing.
The firm also disclosed that Farook no longer has a relevant interest in the shares of the company. He was appointed to the Board in February this year. His predecessor was Director Krishantha Cooray. Of this February’s new appointees Nilanthi Pieris is the only person remaining.
Farook is an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in diversified fields of business including telecommunications, green energy, property development and venture capital and investment promotion.
