‘idea2fund’, the enabling platform powered by MTI Corporate Finance for Sri Lanka’s Future Entrepreneurs will start its first round of concept presentations tomorrow.

The presentations will take place Saturday and Sunday at the Hilton Colombo.

From the 250 entry applications that ‘idea2fund’ received over the last month or so, the shortlisted 60 will have the opportunity to present and convince the judges on the concept of their business ideas.

Each applicant will  present the concept of their idea followed by a Q&A session by judges who will challenge and provide constructive feedback to each applicant.

The panel of judges, who will be MTI’s International Consultants including Hilmy Cader, CEO of MTI Consulting will then further shortlist the 60 based on the concept presentations for the next round which will be the commercial presentations.

“Over the next two days, we shall be listening intently to the concept of each idea with our objective judging hats on. Looking forward to a relaxed and informal discussion with these budding entrepreneurs and would like to wish them all the luck,” said Cader.
