Colombo played host to over 70 worldwide leaders from internationally-renowned agency Ogilvy Public Relations this week. Led by Christopher Graves, Ogilvy Public Relations Global Chairman, and Scott Kronick, President and CEO for Asia Pacific, the teams honoured a fantastic growth result for 2015 and came together to chart the course for the company’s future.
Among its 2015 achievements, Ogilvy PR won Agency of the Year at the SABRE Awards, and collected its first Cannes Lion (Cannes Lions 2015 International Festival for Creativity) for its highly acclaimed work for Visit Britain ‘Great Chinese Names for Great Britain’. The agency’s dedication to delivering ‘earned influence’ – championed by Global Ogilvy PR Chairman, Christopher Graves, was also voted by the Holmes Report as one of the most powerful pieces of thinking to shape the PR industry today.

The agency’s 35 year anniversary in Asia Pacific sat at the heart of this year’s celebrations. A pivotal moment for the company, the three-day gathering encouraged Ogilvy employees to embrace a fresh approach to creativity, be inspired by one another and feel excited for what’s to come for the PR industry and for their clients.
Equally, as Sri Lanka gathers in momentum and importance, the Ogilvy offices move from strength to strength making the choice of Colombo’s blue skies, sea, sunshine and coconuts an obvious choice. There is no better way to get the creative juices flowing!
