The Galadari Hotel and the World Trade Centre (WTC) successfully completed their first ever access link that connects the car parks of both parties concerned.

The completion of the car park access link project is highly beneficial to both parties enabling ample car parking facilities for customers of WTC as well as the guests of the Galadari Hotel.

The car park access link which was officially opened on 8 December has the ability to house a large number of vehicles.

This advantage will be highly beneficial to both the Galadari Hotel guests as well as WTC customers, enabling hassle free parking services.

The project proposal was initially discussed in June 2011 between the General Manager Sampath Siriwardena of the Galadari Hotel and CEO Pravir Samarasinghe of Overseas Reality (Ceylon) PLC.

The agreement for the above proposal was finalised and signed on 17 October.

Saliya Hapugalle – Chief Engineer of the Galadari Hotel and Indradeva Mendis – Senior Manager Facilities Management of  Overseas Reality (Ceylon) PLC were appointed as Project Coordinators.

The project commenced on 27 October and was completed in a record time of one month and seven days.

The access link will connect the two car parking facilities so that it could be mutually shared.

As finding proper parking facilities is the number one setback in Colombo, the new access link will enable the Galadari Hotel to offer easy access and hassle free parking services to their most valued guests.
