Geely Micro Panda Cross lands at Bandaranaike International airport

Micro Holdings Ltd., which projected the Sri Lankan identity to the international arena by manufacturing motor vehicles in Sri Lanka, had succeeded in gaining international recognition by introducing their Geely Micro Panda Cross at the BIA Christmas Festival held recently.

Micro Holdings Ltd. has been involved in this years’ BIA Christmas Festival as a main sponsor, which was organised for the third year by Airport and Aviation Services Ltd. The BIA Christmas Festival which commenced on 1 December 2012 would go on for two months until 31 January 2013, presenting the visitors to the festival with attractive gifts.

At this festival which will be held on the premises of the Bandaranaike International Airport, all persons who purchase goods to the value of $ 10 or more at the airport entrance or exit lounges will be eligible to participate in a special raffle draw. At this raffle draw, the winner will be awarded a Geely Micro Panda Cross motor vehicle.

At this BIA Christmas Festival the local motor manufacturer Micro Holdings Ltd. will be in a position to introduce their Geely Micro Panda motor vehicle to local as well as international motor vehicle enthusiasts by participating in this big festival.

The chairman of Micro Holdings Ltd. Dr. Lawrence Perera, at a media conference held to educate the general public regarding this festival, commented that Bandaranaike International Airport is the main gate through which all visitors to this country move through, and this would be a great opportunity to make known the Geely Micro Panda Cross manufactured by a local company to a multitude of people.

The Head of Airport and Aviation Services Ltd. Marketing division Kaushal Munasinghe commented that due publicity regarding BIA Christmas Festival had been given through local as well as foreign media.
