Small and medium scale entrepreneurs who have benefited by Hatton National Bank’s ‘Gemi Pubuduwa’ loan scheme were given the opportunity to trade their wares at a New Year fair.
The range of products offered for sale included furniture, clothes, footwear, sweet meats, fruits, plants, household utensils, Ayurvedic products and even fresh fish!
HNB DGM Development Banking Lasantha Fernando, Hatton National Bank AGM Jude Fernando, CBSL’s Southern Regional Manager Upali Hettiarachchi and HNB’s Regional Head Southern Region Sampath Vithana were the guests of honour at the fair. The New Year fair held at Uyanwatta was organised by Manager Development Banking Southern Region Jagath Dissanayake.
