German Technical Training Institute in Matara mooted

Minister of Finance and Media Mangala Samaraweera met with the Director of the Ministry of Development and Economic Cooperation of Germany Michael Gies, Claudia Arce of the German Development Bank along with the German Ambassador to Sri Lanka Jörn Rohde and the Country Director for GIZ, to discuss the proposed German Technical Training Institute to be built in Matara. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Finance on 1 August. 

GIZ is a German development agency headquartered in Bonn and Eschborn that provides services in the field of international development cooperation. The German Development Bank (KfW) is a German Government-owned development bank based in Frankfurt.
