The Swadeshi Industrial works PLC enjoys its positioning as the pioneer and market leader of herbal personal care products in Sri Lanka. The company has recently enticed users of its herbal beauty soap Swadeshi Khomba to participate in a brand new promotion and raffle draw, ‘Swadeshi Khomba Thegi Newak’ and win numerous household appliances and gift packs.
The first prize of the raffle draw which is a Galaxy scooter was clinched by the lucky winner, Rasika Sanjeewani of Saliyapura, Anuradhapura.
The ‘Swadeshi Khomba Thegi Newak’ promotional campaign and raffle draw was specially launched by the company to pay tribute to its loyal users of ‘Swadeshi Khomba’ herbal products. The seventieth anniversary of Khomba Herbal Soap coincided with the campaign.
Winners of the monthly draw were gifted with refrigerators, washing machines, sewing machines and DVD players. The Galaxy scooter and an array of laptops were gifted to the winners of the grand draw held in December 2013.
Rasika Sanjeewani who was the winner of the first prize said: “This prize is so special to me because I have been a loyal user of Swadeshi Khomba products since my childhood. Therefore deep sentiments are associated with this prize. I perceive this campaign of Swadeshi as a gesture of paying gratitude to the company’s loyal users of the Swadeshi Khomba products. Hence I invite all to indulge in Khomba.”
A spokesperson for Swadeshi said the company took the decision to launch ‘Swadeshi Khomba Thegi Newak’ promotional campaign and raffle draw with a view to paying gratitude to its loyal customers who have been using Swadeshi Khomba products over the decades.
