Gordon Estate, Mooloya Tea Factory set out all time records

Gordon Estate, managed by M/s Stallion Plantations PLC, established an all time record price of Rs. 450 per kilogram for an invoice of OPA at the auctions on 25 and 27 March 2013. This invoice was purchased by M/s Jafferjee Bros (Pvt.) Ltd. and the brokers were M/s Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers.

Gordon Estate is situated in the Udapussellawa region has been consistently manufacturing high quality leafy teas which has been much saught after for its liquoring characteristics and consistent leafy appearance

Mooloya Tea Factory located in Hevahata agro climatic sub-district achieved an all time record price of Rs. 570 per kilogram of FBOP at the auctions on 25 and 27 March 2013. This line of tea was purchased by M/s J Cey Tea (Pvt.) Ltd. and the brokers were M/s Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers.

This factory is managed by M/s Pussellawa Plantations and is reputed for producing high quality liquoring leafy grades which are saught after for its light, bright liquors.
