Grant McCann Erickson wins ‘Roger Hatchuel’ for second time

Lakmini Wahalathanthri of Grants was adjudged the winner of the ‘Roger Hatchuel’ competition and has earned the enviable opportunity of attending the Roger Hatchuel Academy in France this June.



Every year around 35 students of advertising, communications or marketing from around the world attend the seven-day course at the Roger Hatchuel Academy at Cannes Lions.

The course combines a unique program of dedicated sessions under the guidance of Dean Rick Boyko, Director and Professor at Brandcenter, and Course Tutor Clive Challis, Head of the Advertising Course at Central Saint Martins, London. Alongside these exclusive sessions, students have full access to the Festival.

Grant McCann Erickson has prided itself in expertly grooming a new generation of strategically focused, insight driven young advertising experts who lead their brands to measurable success.

Two years ago Malaka Premasiri of Grant McCann Erickson was the unanimous winner of this prestigious opportunity.  

Lakmini Wahalathanthri is a Senior Brand Service Executive, studying for her Masters in Business Administration part time.
