Head of HSBC India to speak at Sri Lanka Economic Summit

Head of HSBC India Naina Lal Kidwai will deliver the key note address during the 5th session of the Sri Lanka Economic Summit. The 5th session will take place under the title of ‘Banking in the New World’.
Naina Lal Kidwai is also an Executive Director on the board of HSBC Asia-Pacific and a Non-Executive Director of Nestle S.A.
She is also the Immediate Past President of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and currently functions in as a member of various government committees for trade and industry etc.
The Sri Lanka Economic Summit, which is organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will take place on 5 and 6 August in Colombo, while Kidwai will speak on the second day.
A panel comprising Commercial Bank Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody, Senior Director of Sampath Bank PLC Sanjiva Senanayake and Nations Trust Bank Chairman Krishan Balendra will take part as panellists during the session, held to discuss ‘Banking in the New World’.
Capital Media Ltd. Editor-in-Chief Shamindra Kulamannage will moderate the session.
