Hellmann wins prestigious MAST global awards

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics recently emerged as a big winner at the prestigious Mast Global Awards ceremony held in Hong Kong. Hellmann brought home four title recognitions for year 2011; The Synergy Award for airfreight, the Power of One Award, the Service Provider of the Year Award and the Best On-Time Lane Performance Award.

The Synergy Award was presented to the airfreight team for having built a process monitoring airfreight operation in real-time.

Hellmann set up a control tower function in Hong Kong which acted as a central command centre with multiple origins feeding information to Hong Kong and managing the flow of cargo in order to maximise efficiencies. The Hellmann team displayed tremendous flexibility in working with Mast Global, and their factories, to accommodate the flow of orders; Developing and refining reports to ensure the success of their first ever dedicated flight program and demonstrating strong leadership on the ground to ensure that all procedures and operational requirements were aligned.  

The Power of One Award was presented to Sebastian Brockamp of Hellmann Germany   for his instrumental leadership in the development and implementation of the dedicated air program. Brockamp demonstrated an unprecedented ability to understand Mast Global objectives and developed a solution that led to the operational success of the air model and he demonstrated what power one individual can have on a business relationship.  

For the second year in a row Hellmann took the Service Provider of the Year Award.  The global airfreight team delivered a remarkably integrated solution involving multiple origins, leadership teams and cultures. They ensured that the solution would be developed and implemented in a way that delivered the objectives successfully.  

The fourth award of the evening was presented to the Hellmann team in recognition for their consistent on-time delivery of services, by awarding them with Best On-Time Lane Performance.
