A 17-member high-powered business delegation comprising of 15 companies from Vietnam will be visiting Sri Lanka in November 2013. The delegation is organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Vietnam and the Embassy of Vietnam in Sri Lanka.
The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in association with the Sri Lanka-Greater Mekong Subregion Business Council will be organising B2B meetings on 18 November at 10 a.m. at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
Delegates are interested in meeting with companies dealing with the following products: agricultural machinery, engines and parts: rice reapers, paddy seeders, power tillers, mist dusters, huller heads, rubber rolls, diesel engines, gasoline engines; agricultural products, such as coffee, pepper, rice; batteries – dry cell, storage battery; diesel engines, agricultural machinery such as power tillers, rubber rolls, generators, water pumps, gasoline engines, rice milling machines and spare parts; handicrafts; medicines, chemicals; non dairy topping cream and instant nutritious cereal and trading and exporting some bakery ingredients; Vietnamese agricultural products, instant noodles; oil, gas, petroleum products; power cables; sugar; vegetable processing and maintaining, agri-solutions from farming to finished products, seedling producers; raw jute and jute products; PVC and rubber conveyor, belt conveyor industrial fans, processing and export natural rubber; rice, corn, bean, vegetable; cooperation in studying, production, distribution of new seedlings with domestic and international entities and agencies; rubber foam insulation and welding electrode and welding wire – nails and steel wire, MDF and value added products from MDF. This would be an ideal opportunity for the companies to meet the delegates at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
