Hindagala Estate establishes all-time record price for a BOPSP grade

Hindagala Estate which is situated at the foot hills of Namunukula (nine peaks) mountain range in the Uva planting district has continuously maintained a high standard of manufacture producing good quality teas.
At the recently concluded Tea Auctions of 10 December 2013, Hindagala Estate had the proud distinction of establishing an all-time record price of Rs. 700 for a BOPSP grade for the UVA medium elevation. This line of tea was purchased by Imperial Teas Ltd.
Eastern Brokers Ltd. was the broker associated with the sale of Hindagala Estate teas. Hindagala Estate comes under the management of RPC Management Services Ltd., of the Richard Peiris Group of Companies.
