Hit Factory Ties up with SLF Digital Film Academy

The Sri Lanka Foundation (SLF), the foremost Adult Education Centre in Sri Lanka was established in 1974 consequent to an agreement between the SLF and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. Today, the SLF is on a stronger footing whereby it is regularised under an Act of Parliament, the Sri Lanka Foundation Law No.31 of 1973.

The SLF functions autonomously under the purview of the Presidential Secretariat and is managed by a board. SLF offers a wide range of academic programs in dynamic fields namely, Social and Institutional Development, Psychology and Counselling, Business and Enterprise Management, Language and ICT, Digital Film Academy, Tourism & Hospitality Management and Centre for wellbeing. All educational programmes are accredited by the Tertiary and Vocational Commission of SL.

Hit Factory Audio Institute (HFAI) is Sri Lanka’s premier audio technology education institute and is the first and the only institute to provide world class qualifications in this field, as an exclusive partner of the world acclaimed City and Guilds Educational Organisation, Hit Factory Audio Institute was founded on 01 April 2008 under Company Registration No. W/a 77952; and is the corporate body of the highly acclaimed Hit Factory production house in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Hit Factory Audio Institute has its main office at No.49/3b, Fife Road, Colombo 5.

This institutional collaboration is expected to provide viable and sustainable training and education in Audio Technology to the masses. It is also expected to contribute towards the enhancement of the knowledge, skills and abilities of those who work or want to work in the post-production and sound and music technology industries which will also open up a forum for those interested in the above industries. It will also enable them to learn, develop and practice skills required for career progression in the sound and music technology sectors and also post production.
