HNB opens 205th customer centre in Madampe

Hatton National Bank opened its 205th Customer Centre in Madampe. The Customer Centre was opened by Managing Director/CEO of HNB, Rajendra Theagarajah and Chandula Abeywickrema, Deputy General Manager – Marketing & Retail Banking, HNB.

Jude Fernando, Senior Manager – North Western Region, HNB, senior bank officials, Government officials, local businessmen and customers were present at this occasion. This Customer Centre is fully equipped to provide the customers with an easy and a convenient access to all banking facilities.

Addressing the gathering Abeywickrema expressed his pleasure in having opened the new customer centre. Today, HNB provides its expertise and services through a large network of Customer Centres across the island.

It is also the only bank to have not forgotten the more rural villages, taking banking to the rural area, when for the first time in the commercial banking history of Sri Lanka, the Bank introduced a barefoot banker named ‘Gami Pupuduwa Upadeshaka’ through its Gami Pubuduwa Village Awakening Programme, said Abeywickrema.

The HNB Madampe Customer Centre offers a complete range of facilities from savings and current accounts, import/export loans, Singithi (minor savings accounts), Shanthi home loans, financing under the Gami Pubuduwa scheme, Credit Cards, NRFC/RFC accounts, leasing facilities, pawning, financial solutions for SMEs, etc. HNB drives on the cutting-edge of technology with an island wide ATM network, and online banking facilities.
