Holcim Global CEO meets Basil

Global cement giant Holcim’s Global CEO Bernard Fontana during his two-day visit last week paid a courtesy call on Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa. During the meeting Fontana updated Holcim’s progress in Sri Lanka including the commissioning of $ 22 million

capacity expansion and future plans. Swiss Ambassador Thomas Leitcher was also associated at the meeting. Holcim Corporate Functional Manager Aidan Lynam, Holcim (Lanka) CEO Philippe Richart, Holcim (Lanka) VP Sustainable Development and External Affairs Asela Iddawela also attended the meeting along with Secretary of the Ministry of Investment Promotions Karunathilake Amunugama
