Holcim Lanka awards its seniors

Capitalising on commitment, Holcim Lanka took another step forward in order to encourage its employees on the path to solidarity and success. Holcim Lanka has been recognised and recurrently awarded by the people for its commitment and dedication. However, in an attempt to reciprocate, Holcim Lanka, the local manifestation of global cement manufacturing company, Holcim awarded those who had committed themselves for the betterment of the organisation reminding that those who are committed will always be rewarded. In appreciation to those who were the pillars of strength, throughout the best of their years, Holcim Lanka awarded its employees who had successfully completed 25 years of service. 33 Holcim Lanka employees were awarded at the Seniority awards ceremony which was held at the club palm bay hotel in Marawila in gratitude for bearing the responsibility of fortifying the foundation of success at Holcim Lanka. The initiative also reminisced the success, Holcim Lanka had acquired, branching out to be a successful global company within a short period. Holcim Lanka is the local subsidiary to the global construction company, currently operating worldwide. Being the market leader in the cement industry, the company focuses on economic, social and environmental performance along the triple bottom line of sustainable development. The company currently operates one fully integrated cement plant in Puttalam, while also operating a grinding plant in Galle, with expansion projects taking place throughout the country.
