Over 500 HSBC credit cardholders have won back their fuel spend since the  reintroduction of the bank’s ‘Free Fuel’ promotion in March, which allowed credit cardholders the privilege of travelling anywhere with a chance to get reimbursed for their daily travel cost. The promotion will go on until 31 May 2011.

Amidst the recent fuel price hikes that were necessitated by increased global oil prices, the promotion will continue to pass on the perks of fuel rebates to cardholders with free fuel.

The bank’s signature promotion ‘Free Fuel’ was reintroduced in early March with the intent of offering a maximum fuel refund of up to Rs. 10,000 each day to 10 HSBC cardholders who use their HSBC credit card to fill their tanks at any fuel station islandwide.

The ‘Free Fuel’ offer exemplifies HSBC’s understanding of its customer needs and belief in rewarding customers with the basic necessities that complement their daily lifestyle.

HSBC credit cards, available in the categories of Visa Gold, Visa Platinum, Advance Visa Platinum and Premier MasterCard, come with the assurance of belonging to one of the leading banking and financial services organisations in the world. Coupled with priceless benefits and rewards, the HSBC credit card is globally accepted at 19 million merchant locations in over 160 countries.

The current promotion winners’ names can be viewed on the bank’s website www.hsbc.lk.
