Holcim Lanka, the leading cement manufacturer in Sri Lanka has taken a leap step forward in terms of empowering stakeholders.
By doing so, Holcim recently carried out a comprehensive one day workshop for the dynamic engineers at International Construction Consortium (ICC), the leading general contractor in town. This program also signifies Holcims’ philosophy on developing long lasting relationships with its business partners and stakeholders. Holcim has a track record in sharing knowledge and expertise in cement manufacturing and concrete technology among its stakeholders and continues to believe in adding more value to business partners is the only way to overcome challenges.
On the other hand ICC is one of the topmost construction companies in Sri Lanka with multi sector capability. Established for over 30 years, ICC today have seven key divisions which include project development, infrastructure development, building construction, water supply and sanitation, road and bridge construction, property development and international divisions.
Holcim drives much more than what its customers look for whether it’s the process of quality control or adding value to our stakeholders stakeholder’s sustainable growth.
During a post evaluation of this ICC engineers meet, it was assured that many aspects which Holcim Lanka brought out could be used for an innovative approach in both design and construction industry in Sri Lanka.

As a corporate leader Holcim Lanka has established its own foot print of responsible care for its stakeholders in the past and leading up to this event the company had also conducted an island-wide program on certifying skilled masons with a recognised qualification allowing them to be engaged with both local and international construction/masonry activities.
