Ind-Expo conducts food safety training for hoteliers and manufacturers in Jaffna District

Two training programs on food safety were conducted by Ind-Expo Certification Limited in partnership with Northern Province Tourism Association and Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Yarlpanam, with the objective of raising the knowledge in the aspects of food safety and good practices among the hoteliers and manufacturers in Jaffna district. These programs were supported by United Nations Industrial Organisation (UNIDO) project on ‘Strengthening Certification Capability in Sri Lanka’. There were participants representing from hotels, and manufacturing organisations located in Jaffna district for the training.
Ind-Expo Certification Limited is a non profit making certification and training organisation established by Ceylon National Chamber of Industries and National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka with the support of United Nations Industrial Development Organisation under Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Sri Lanka.
