Industrial Gases successfully launches liquid oxygen/nitrogen plant

Industrial Gases (Pvt.) Ltd. successfully completed their liquid oxygen/nitrogen manufacturing plant prior to the launching ceremony held at its factory premises at Sapugaskande on 13 July in the presence of heads of corporate clientele, principals, business associates and staff. The event coincided with the company’s 20th anniversary commemorating a long history of manufacturing and supplying industrial gases to the country.

Amongst the invitees present was Presidential Secretariat Additional Secretary Gamini Senarath who graced the event, thus endorsing IGL’s journey of progress in the industry and contribution to the country’s economic development.  

Equipped with highly efficient and versatile machinery, coupled with the manufacturing skills of trained workmen, IGL vied to maintain its position as one of the leading gas manufacturers and suppliers in the country.  The new supply will be integrated with the existing distribution network in the country, improving distribution efficiency and reliability to its customers in the rapidly growing industrial environment. This is another example of IGL’s demonstrated capability to supply liquid oxygen and nitrogen to provide feedstock to the industrial sector.

Following his welcome address, the Guruge felicitated Executive Director Lalith Peiris and his team for their immense contribution in making the erection of the new plant a reality.
