Informatics commits to environment sustainability

Informatics International Limited and Converse Solutions Ltd, two of Informatics Group’s fastest growing subsidiaries were certified with the carbon neutral certification by the Carbon Consulting Company (CCC), Sri Lanka’s premier carbon footprint expert.



For the past few months Informatics has been taking actions for shrinking the carbon footprint of its subsidiaries to ensure environment sustainability as a part of their CSR policy. Achieving Carbon Neutral status exhibits that Informatics is steadfast to environmental sustainability by initially reducing and then offsetting its entire carbon output.

Group Director of Informatics, Hasith Wickramasinghe proudly stated, “We are one of the foremost Software Companies in Asia to achieve the Carbon Neutral Certification with our vision to ‘Go Green’. Achieving Carbon Neutral status proves that Informatics is very much concerned of our environment and Informatics hopes to offset more of its subsidiaries to get carbon neutral certification in 2012. We would like to thank and congratulate Carbon Consulting Company for helping us to accomplish this task.”
