INSEE Cement wins at National Business Excellence Awards

INSEE Cement, the newly re-branded cement manufacturer that was earlier known as Holcim Lanka, was the Joint Runner-up in the Manufacturing Sector – Other Services category at the recent National Business Excellence Awards held by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka. (NCCSL). 

The award was presented to recognise excellence demonstrating leadership, corporate governance, capacity building, performance management, local and global market reach, CSR and sustainability as well as outstanding business and financial results.

INSEE Cement is the only local manufacturer in Sri Lanka to introduce eco-friendly ‘green’ cement to the country. The company invests in improvements to the nation such as uplifting health and safety, particularly road safety, protecting the environment, people development and good governance.
