International symposium on ‘Paradigm Shift in Management Principles – The Winning Edge’ today

Dr. Upali Mahanama, International Marketing Consultant & Corporate Trainer, has organised an international symposium specially designed for faculty members of higher education today and tomorrow (8 and 9 November) from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Concord Grand Hotel, Dehiwala.
A spokesman said 20 research papers on management will be presented at this symposium by professors of three universities in India.
In addition to the presentation of research papers, the symposium will include four lectures on modern management subjects by leading lecturers from India and Sri Lanka and an exciting workshop.
The Chief Guest for the Symposium is Malik Cader, former Director General of the Security Exchange Commission and former Senior Advisor, Ministry of Finance and Planning.
A highlight of the program will be a lecture by former Sri Lankan Cricket Captain and current ICC Elite Panel Match Referee Roshan Mahanama on ‘Career Building & Leadership’ followed by a Q&A session.
Keynote addresses will be delivered by Maliban Biscuit Manufactories Ltd. CEO – Sales and Marketing Ravi Jayawardena and former Commissioner of Excise Hubert de Alwis.
After the symposium the Indian delegation will go on a study tour of Sri Lanka for two days and return to India on 12 November.
