Intertek Lanka awarded ‘Best Service Provider’ at the Presidential Export Award

Intertek Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. a joint venture between Intertek Overseas Holding Ltd, UK and Pathfinder Group was awarded the Presidential Export Award for 2009 in the category ‘Best Service Provider to Export Community’ in Sri Lanka.

Ceremony was held recently at Temple Trees, and certificate and trophy was awarded by President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Presidential Export Awards is the most sought after achievement one can dream of in the export sector. Started in 1981, organized by Export Development Board, every year recipients are selected by an eminent panel of judges comprising private sector, public sector and members from the leading trade chambers in Sri Lanka. Exporters and service providers to exporters are recognized for their achievements and their contributions to national GDP.  Divided into various categories based on the product and diverse markets, all leading exporters of goods and services compete to become a recipient of this prestigious award.
