Iranian Ambassador calls on Finance Minister

A meeting between Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake and Iranian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Mohammad Zaeri Amirani was held recently (15 July) at the Ministry of Finance.The discussion during the meeting was centered on further strengthening the long standing trade links between the two countries.During the bilateral meeting the Finance Minister explained to the Iranian Ambassador about the favorable environment currently prevailing for investment opportunities in Sri Lanka. Ambassador Amirani told Minister Karunanayake that he will explore the possibility for Iranians to investing in Sri Lanka.
