Japanese expert on Lean Manufacturing

NORIO Takaba will be the key Resource Person at a seminar on Lean Manufacturing on 28 October 2010 at the Grand Oriental Hotel.

Takaba, Managing Director of FDK Lanka Ltd. which is a major Japanese owned BOI enterprise in manufacturing in the Katunayake Zone will provide an overview of Lean Manufacturing Practices and the relevance to the Sri Lankan context.



The other Resource Persons will be Rohan Pallewatte, Executive Director of the Japanese owned Automotive Harnessing Enterprise in the Biyagama Zone; Piyal Aponso of Orange Electric and leading Academics from the Colombo University; Dr. Saman Dasanayake, Professor P.S.M. Guneratne and Professor H.D.
