Job/Career Fair in Horana on 13 February

National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka in partnership with the National Human Resources Development Council of Sri Lanka and the Vocational Training Institutions is conducting a Job/Career Fair on Saturday 13 February from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. at Thakashila Central College in Horana. This is the third occasion this fair is conducted in the outstations.

The event would be an opportunity for employers to find employees to fill their job vacancies and for school leavers/job seekers to find suitable employment. Skilled labour is available in the following areas – automobile, painting, plumbing, air-conditioning, agriculture, information technology, welding, electrical, tailoring carpenters, computer hardware. Before the commencement of interviews by prospective employers, an awareness seminar will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. at the venue for the job seekers. School leavers and graduates are eligible to participate.  

The interviews will commence from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for employers to interview the job seekers and confirm their applications on the spot. School leavers/job seekers interested to participate at the Job Fair may contact National Human Resources Development Council, Co, TP 2595680/79.
