Korea’s Ministry of Lands, Infrastructure and Transport Vice Minister Kim Kyung Hwan visited Sri Lanka this week. He was accompanied by high-level and a large business delegation comprising of both State owned and private corporations representing the infrastructure sector, including Korea Expressway Corporation, Korea Land and Housing Corporation, and Korea Water Resources Corporation. The growing economic cooperation between Sri Lanka and Korea prompted the official visit, which is expected to be a great opportunity. The Korean Vice Minister and delegation met Minister of Development Strategies and International trade Malik Samarawickrama and had discussions to promote trade and investments between Sri Lanka and Korea.
