Lankan chartered accountants body conducts seminar in Qatar

The Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CASL) - Qatar Chapter (affiliated to Sri Lanka embassy in the State of Qatar), recently hosted a professional seminar on “the strategy execution framework and the balance score card (BSC)”.



The guest lecturers of the event were Qtel officials -- strategy expert Yasir Nainar and sales manager Cyril Anand. The speakers mainly focused on how to use the balanced scorecard as a tool to execute an organisation’s strategy. They even used a case study to illustrate the usefulness of the BSC.

The seminar was held at Best Western Hotel recently with the participation of the members of the CASL Qatar chapter and other invitees.

The seminar was part of a series organised by the technical committee of the chapter with an objective to improve the continuous professional development of the members of the chapter residing in Qatar.

“The presentation was a great source of professional development to our members. Further, the lectures were organised, reflective and full of enthusiasm and roofed the imperative areas within the precise time limits” said chapter president Rizwan Yaseen.
