Lankan trade, investment mission planned for Korea

The Sri Lanka-Korea Economic Co-operation Committee (SLKECC) of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will be organising a Trade and Investment Promotion mission South Korea from 16 - 21 October 2011

The main objective of the mission is to strengthen trade ties, source suitable business partners for trade, investments, joint ventures, technology transfer and services. It is hoped that this mission would assist in expanding existing business contacts. The mission will be lead by Neomal Perera, Deputy Minister of External Affairs. Export Development Board of Sri Lanka also will join the mission.

Sri Lanka Embassy in the Republic of Korea will be organising Business Forums and business match making events in association with The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry .

The potential products and services identified for promotion are: Activated Carbon, Apparel & Clothing, Automobile components, Ceramics, Coir Products, Construction Services, Gems & Jewellery, Herbal cosmetics, Hotels, Information & Communication Technology, Leather products, Paper yarn & Woven Fabric of paper yarn, Precious and semi precious stones, Processed Foods, Rubber Products, Sanitary ware, Software industry, Tourism and Seafood.
