LAUGFS Car Care now in Negombo

LAUGFS Car Care Limited, the vehicle servicing and detailing arm of LAUGFS Holdings Limited, opened its new Car Care Centre in Negombo under the patronage of LAUGFS Holdings Limited Managing Director U. Thilak De Silva.

Motorists in Negombo are now in a position to obtain professional services at the LAUGFS Car Care Centre.

Addressing the gathering at the opening ceremony, De Silva said that LAUGFS had changed the landscape of the petroleum retailing sector by bringing professionalism into the sector.

“When we entered the petroleum retailing sector, the country’s fuel selling centres were not functioning according to the expectations of the customers. We used to see people wearing rubber slippers and chewing betel pumping fuel for our vehicles. They were also very arrogant towards customers. However, when we entered the sector, we changed the landscape of fuel stations, making them clean places offering customer friendly service. We introduced a new culture by offering a customer friendly service. Similarly at LAUGFS Car Care we introduced a professional approach where customers are in a better position to maintain their vehicles by getting them serviced by professionals,” De Silva added.
