Leela Jewellers wins ‘National Shrama Abhimani Award’

The 2012 National Shrama Abhimani Awards ceremony organised by the Shrama Abhimani National Council was held at the BMICH recently. At that ceremony, the National Shrama Abhimani Award 2012 for the jewellery industry was awarded to Leela Jewellers (Pvt.) Ltd. Homagama Managing Director E.W.A. Harischandra.

Speaking about winning the National Shrama Abhimani Award Harischandra said that the business was inaugurated 62 years ago by his father and that being in the jewellery business for 62 years is a great achievement, and the unbroken trust and confidence the people of Homagama placed on Leela Jewellers was a great boost to this victory.  

The head office of Leela Jewellers is located at Homagama and it has several branches in main cities such as Kaduwela and Athurugiriya.
