Litro Gas partners with SLIM as corporate sponsor

Litro Gas, the largest national importer and market leader of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in Sri Lanka, partnered with the apex body of Sri Lankan marketers, Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) as a corporate sponsor for this year at Litro Gas corporate office. The agreement was signed and exchanged between senior officials.

The association between Litro Gas and SLIM will no doubt strengthen and open up many opportunities in the marketing fraternity and involve in prominent national level events such as Brand Excellence, Effie Awards, People’s Awards, NASCO, Marketing Roks, and Gamata Marketing among others.

We hope to further drive our sales and marketing efforts, connect our brands, interact and build strong communities throughout the country,” said Litro Gas Lanka Ltd. SLIM has been nurturing aspiring marketers since its inception thus developed indigenous qualifications which are well accepted by the market apart from third party marketing qualifications offered through SLIM as a responsible body to cater to dynamic needs of students and the nation. SLIM annually produces approximately 4,000 qualified marketers at different qualification levels. 

The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) is the apex body of Sri Lankan marketers, and was founded in 1970 and subsequently incorporated by an act of Parliament in 1980, recognising it as the national body for marketing and is a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation. It is mandated to uplift the marketing profession in Sri Lanka thus providing marketing studies and conduct many national level events and projects. SLIM is governed by a Council of Management and an Executive Committee headed by a President and comprise of professionals from numerous industries on an honorary capacity.

Litro Gas Lanka Ltd. (LGLL) is the leader in marketing and selling LPG in Sri Lanka along with its associate company Litro Gas Terminal Lanka Ltd. The company is the owner of the brand ‘Litro Gas’ which serves the customers through 5,000 points of sale Island-wide. Litro Gas has a reputation for the strict implementation of safety standards and is considered as an important cornerstone in its company strategy.
