Live discussion with SEC and CSE Chairmen on ‘Warana’ this Sunday

The second program of the ‘Warana’ TV series conducted by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) together with Sirasa TV will be telecast on 3 February from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. live on Sirasa TV.



‘Warana’ is committed towards educating the public and creating awareness about the stock market, unit trusts industry and the capital market as a whole.

The second ‘Warana’ program will exclusively feature SEC Chairman Dr. Nalaka Godahewa and Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) Chairman Krishan Balendra as eminent resource persons for the week. The highlight of this episode will be that it is the first time both the SEC and CSE Chairmen are coming together on the same platform for a live discussion on television. The two Chairmen will mainly focus on discussing about the current status of the Sri Lankan capital market and unfolding the way forward of the market. Viewers can direct their questions and connect with the eminent panel live during the program.

As in the previous week, viewers can send in their answers to the question that will be asked during the program based on the discussion for the day and get the opportunity to win Rs. 50,000 to either invest in shares or unit trusts.
