Macbertan recognised at NBEA 2013

Macbertan Ltd., manufacturer of McFoil heat insulation material, received a Merit Award in manufacturing under ‘Manufacturing – Other Sector’ at the prestigious National Business Excellence Awards 2013. The National Business Excellence Awards are conducted by the National Chamber of Commerce to recognise establishments that have demonstrated business excellence in Sri Lanka.

Managing Director Ramani Ponnambalam said that this was the first time the company had participated in the National Business Excellence Awards and it was a significant achievement in the company’s history to receive this award. Macbertan is the pioneer and a market leader in the manufacturing of heat insulation products category in Sri Lanka and McFoil is one of the company’s strongest brands alongside its successful brands Mc Foam, Mc Wrap and Mc Lami Tubes.

Macbertan is a joint venture between McLarens Holdings Ltd. and Alliance Finance Company PLC.
