Malaysia’s largest private bank’s COO visits Colombo

COO of Public bank Berhad Dato Chang Kat Kiam was in Colombo on a two day official visit, during his stay he paid a courtesy call on Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal, High Commissioner to Malaysia Azmi Zainudeen, Colombo Stock Exchange CEO Krishan Balendra, Overseas Realty CEO Pravir Samarasinghe and in addition he also visited several development projects currently undertaking in the country.

His visit was a very successful one for the Colombo branch.  Dato Chang was very much delighted to see the rapid development taking place in the country after the war.  

He compared the Colombo situation and their experience at Laos and Cambodia a few years ago where these countries are recovering from a similar situation.

He further reiterated that Public Bank Group is committed to further expanding its operations in Sri Lanka.
