MAPS International enters domestic water pumps market with European standard products

MAPS International Ltd. that has been dealing in vehicle tyres, tyre rebuilding and tyre inner-flaps, building materials and electrical appliances commenced distributing domestic water pumps. A range of domestic water pumps manufactured to European standards with MAPS brand name is now penetrating the local market.

MAPS water pumps comprise of two varieties with Horsepower 0.50 along with Horsepower 0.75 and 1.0 products. These products can now be obtained from hardware shops and electrical appliances shops, island wide. 

MAPS International Ltd. Director Asanga Rathnayake said at the launch MAPS products became popular in the country within a short stint due to their user friendly nature, durability and credibility.

“MAPS International Company has a short history of three years. Within this period a heavy demand was created for MAPS building materials, MAPS and UNICORN tyre rebuilding and tyre inner-flaps, domestic electrical appliances and water pumps making MAPS a household name. Demand for MAPS products by the general public motivated us to introduce more products with MAPS brand name,” he said.

He added, “MAPS electrical appliances range introduced one year back was embraced by the public overnight and that endorsed the credibility of our products by them. Introduction of MAPS domestic water pumps range with European standards, five year warranty and affordable prices is a gesture of gratitude by us towards Sri Lankans who rely on MAPS products. MAPS International Ltd. currently produces one-third of the total monthly requirement of tyre inner flaps in the Sri Lankan market.
