Maxi Priest’s encounter with ‘Waves’

International reggae artist Maxi Priest was highly impressed with the Waves flip flops manufactured and marketed by DSI when he visited the DSI exclusive showroom at Crescat.

He was fascinated by the Waves fashionable flip flops, especially with the extra comfort provided by the Natural Waves range.

“The Waves natural range rubber slippers are the most comfortable flip flops that I have ever tried. I love the unique designs of Waves,” he said.  

During his recent visit to Sri Lanka, he was invited by DSI General Manager (Sales and Marketing) Rohan Somawansa to visit the DSI show room.

‘Waves’ was the main sponsors for the musical event, ‘Maxi Priest Live at Hikka Vibration’ held successfully at Hikkaduwa.

Grammy nominated reggae singer, Max Alfred Elliot, well know as Maxi priest is a British born vocalist of Jamaican descent.  His music is mostly influenced by reggae and R&B styles. He is the vocalist for ‘Close to you’ which was one the only two British reggae acts to hold the number one position in the American Billboard.
