Maxim Holdings to set up a new warehouse facility; signs Rs. 700 m agreement with BOI

Maxim Holdings signed a Rs. 700 million agreement with the BOI to set up a new warehouse facility that hosts various events and projects to the local market.

The facility will be located at Mulleriyawa/Sedawatta area and it will provide employment opportunities about 125.

Maxim Holdings which is also a member of Mos Lanka Holdings, is a 100% Sri Lanka owned enterprise.

“We hope to facilitate stores space, factory and an office complex in an area of 70,000 square feet and pleased to announce that the required land has already been acquired. The project will commence in May and scheduled to complete within eight months after obtaining all other necessary approvals. We also hope to lease a part of the stores complex to companies engaged in cargo forwarding. Negotiations are currently being made with several leading companies in this regard,” a company spokesman said.
