Mevan wins another bronze medal at Mathematical Olympiad

Mevan Niluminda Wijewardena of Maliyadewa College, Kurunegala who won a Bronze Medal last year, was able to win a Bronze Medal this year too, at the International Mathematical Olympiad 2013 which was held in Santa Marta, Colombia recently, with the participation of 528 contestants from 97 countries.
IMO is the annual World championship in Mathematics for high school students. It has grown to be the most prestigious Mathematics competitions in the world. It gathers young and talented minds from all over the world to a single place to stretch them to their limits by presenting them with mathematical problems that require little theory but a lot of creativity.
