Senior Minister for International Monetary Co-operation and the Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Sarath Amunugama met Neighbor country Development Agency (NEDA) President Newin Sinsiri, Director of Project Operation and Management Bureau Rapipat Promnart, Director of Policy of and Planning Bureau Hataitat Mahasukon, Policy and Planning Analyst Parranakit Ratmanibodidet and Ambassador of Thailand to Sri Lanka Nopporn Adhariyavanich at the Finance Ministry yesterday.
The Minister had exchanged view in details in regard to the development activities and investment opportunities in Sri Lanka after the defeat of terrorism. The Minister explained the rapid development made in the social and economic fields in Sri Lanka and further explained the development of economic and social progress of the Northern and Eastern Provinces of the country.
