Minister Sirisena chief guest of Ceylon Chamber BCCS awards night

Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena will take part as the chief guest of the Best Corporate Citizens Sustainability Awards ceremony, which will take place on 25 November in Colombo.
Reserve Bank of India Former Deputy Governor Dr. Subir Gokarn will be the keynote speaker at the annual event, which is organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is holding the Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Awards for the 11th consecutive year, with the objective of promoting and recognising corporate sustainability in Sri Lanka and encouraging businesses to adopt best practices to create goods and services.
Currently, the judging and evaluation process of over 70 applicants is in progress, after which applicants will be shortlisted for interviews.
BCCS is one of the key annual events of the 175-year-old Chamber, which is the premier business body in the country.
The awards night is expected to be attended by over 300 corporate sector personalities, Government officials and other interested parties. Those who wish to attend the event can contact Alikie Perera on 2328880.
