Mulatiyana Tea Factory situated in Mulatiyana has achieved five top prices at the weekly tea auction of 5 July, by securing attractive prices of Rs. 860 per kg for PEK1, Rs. 1,050 per kg for OP1, Rs. 3,250 per kg for FBOPFExSp, Rs. 780 per kg for OP and Rs. 2,750 per kg for FBOPFSp in the Low Grown category.
These lines were purchased by Akbar Brothers Ltd., Jafferjee Brothers, Akbar Brothers Ltd., Imperial Teas Ltd. and Akbar Brothers Ltd. respectively.
Mulatiyana Tea Factory is owned by K.H.G. Mahinda Padmasiri and Malinda Padmasiri.
