Multilac, was the only Sri Lankan manufacturer to participate at the 115th Canton Fair in China. The event was held from 15-19 April at Guangzhou in China. At the fair, Multilac showcased its products at the International pavilion.
With the aim of discovering new markets and networking with International clientele while attracting global importers, Multilac marked its presence at the fair with its extensive product portfolio, which included innovative, high quality and eco friendly products that are manufactured for household, industrial, wood care, marine, and automotive segments.
Adopting an effective marketing and branding strategy that was well received by the company’s prospective clientele, Multilac presented its products under three categories at the fair. These categories included interior decoration, innovative products and water-based range of paints.
Accordingly, Multilac Platinum range of paints, the newest series of decorative interior paints were featured under the category of Interior Decoration. The Platinum Range includes five products — Aqua Gloss, Shimmer, Uber Cool, Couture and Omnis, which have been manufactured with a unique workability proposition to facilitate the effortless yet artful decoration of walls.
The Multilac Platinum Magic, a water-based paint, which can be sprayed using a spray gun or a specialty brush was exhibited under the Innovative Product category.
The rest of the interior and weather guard paints of Multilac with their extensive colour selections were displayed under the category of Water-based Range of Paints. This category also featured Multilac 2K products such as Waterproofing Sealer and Waterproofing Putty, also designed for both industrial and domestic use.

Additionally Multilac is in the process of expanding their manufacturing facilities to meet the increasing demand both locally and globally,” affirmed Mizver Makeen, Managing Director of Multilac.
