National Chamber seminar on “Bilateral Trade with Australia”

Continuing the monthly programme conducted by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka on bilateral trade with other countries, the chamber will hold another seminar in this series on “Bilateral Trade with Australia” on Thursday 6 October 2011 from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. at the Chamber Auditorium, No. 450, D.R. Wijewardene Mw, Colombo 10.

Kathy Klugman, the High Commissioner of Australia will be the Special Guest at the seminar and will be assisted by Shameel Javadh, Country Manager, Australian Trade Commission of the High Commission of Australia.

The main focus of this seminar is to create awareness about the opportunities available for both Sri Lanka and Australia and to increase the volume of trade and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

A special feature is that the participants will have the opportunity to interact with the officials of the High Commission and discuss any trade related issues and also be able to obtain first hand information with regard to trade and business opportunities such as export, import and trade in Australia for Sri Lankans.
