Nawalakanda Tea Factory sets all-time record price

Nawalakanda Tea Factory achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 540 per kilo for a FGS grade, surpassing a record price of Rs.520.

This line was purchased by George Steaurt Teas at the recently concluded Tea Auctions which was held at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce on 31 August. The sale was conducted by tea broker John Keells PLC.

Nawalakanda Tea Factory has produced high quality orthodox teas over the past few years and achieved several awards for its quality.
