The second National Business Excellence Summit (NBES 2015) organised by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka will be held on 5 and 6 June at the BMICH.
The summit will include two major events. The first will be the Business Excellence Stream where Gold award-winners of the National Business Excellence Awards 2014 will make presentations on 5 June 2015 highlighting their journey of excellence, their commitment and the areas in which they excelled. The presentation is intended to inspire the audience to strive for similar levels of excellence. The objective of this event is to raise standards in Sri Lankan organisations.
The second event, the Team Excellence Competition, will be held on 5 and 6 June. Applications are welcome from organisations for presenting Quality Circles and Quality Improvement Teams and other forms of teams. Evaluations will be conducted in four separate sections: Quality Circles/Quality Improvement Teams at the non-executive level in the manufacturing and service industries and Quality, Continuous Improvement and other teams at the executive level in the manufacturing and service industries.
Companies could also submit Quality/Productivity slogans, posters as well as Kaizen projects for the competition.
In addition, there will be events for schools which include debates, quiz and Quality Circle Presentations. The awards ceremony of NBES 2015 will be held on 6 June from 7:00 p.m. onwards at the BMICH and be graced by a distinguished gathering of prominent business leaders.
