NCCSL business delegation to Myanmar

THE national Chamber of Commerce of Sri lanka with the support of myanmar Embassy in Sri lanka and Sri lankan Embassy in myanmar will send a Business Delegation to myanmar on a Six day tour from 8 September to 14 September.

The objective of the proposed tour is to explore business and investment opportunities in agriculture, industry, gem and jewellery, tourism, banking and other service sectors in myanmar. Delegates will have meetings with mem-bers and officials of myanmar Chambers of Commerce and industry in Yangon fol-lowed by one to one business meetings. meetings will be held both in naypyitaw and Yangon.  The delegates will also have an opportunity to meet the minister of Commerce and industry of myanmar, other Government officials in Yangon and naypyitaw and also the Sri lanka ambassador and the senior staff of the Sri lankan Embassy in myanmar. With the close ties Sri lanka maintains with myanmar and the good relations we have with the Sri lankan Embassy in myanmar, we can further strengthen bilat-eral business relations through this visit. The delegation will be headed by national Chamber of Commerce President asoka Hettigoda. in addition to private sector business leaders, senior officials from Government institutions are also expected to join the delegation.
